February 14th - Charity day 

We had lots of fun on February  14th sewing hearts to make into quilts for the Homeless.

We made enough hearts to construct two quilts and I would like to thank all of you who came along to the sewing day!!

Motto - Those who have should give to those who haven't 

and those who can should help those who can't!

Gentle Reminder 

Just a gentle reminder this Friday -February 14th - St Valentines day - is a charity day at Naturesthreads. 

If you have the time please pop along anytime between 8.30 - 4.30 and help sew some hearts ( well it has to be hearts on St. Valentines day doesn't it?) on to some fabric. I will provide the machines, the fabrics and if necessary the know-how and the coffee of course! All you have to do is turn up and give a little of your time!

 Sew one heart or more - stay for 15 minutes or a couple of hours - it's up to you!!

 The blocks will then be sewn together to make a quilt which will be donated to Emmaus to raffle off - the funds going to help get more homeless people off the street.

Please come and help if you can!!

Hi guys ,

 Here is Triton- as you know I was going to hold a sewing day - for us all to sew up these little fellas. However, so many of you wanted to be involved and I couldn't organize a day that suited even a few of you - so we have a change of plan! 

 If you would like to sew a dino-pillow - then pop into the shop and pick one up - and you may take it home to sew. I need all the Tritons back by the end of the month though - so I can  stuff them and sew them up and get them delivered in Early March!

 Lets hope we can raise some smiling faces at the childrens hospice when we deliver their new buddies!!
